#Turkey: Arkas fall at tie-break again, Fenerbahçe is close to Efelerligi trophy

Fenerbahçe prevailed in another dramatic tie-breaker against Arkas Spor to take a 2-0 lead in Efelerligi finals.

Fenerbahce Istanbul – Arkas Spor Izmir 3-2 (22:25, 25:21, 25:23, 23:25, 15:13) Serie: 2-0
Fenerbahce: Kiyak 2, Klinkenberg 2, Karasu 5, Ter Maat 23, Hidalgo Oliva 32, Batur 6, Karatas (L); Yatgin 0, Unver 5. Not Entered: Kurt, Ondes, Akdeniz, Dengin (L), Cupkovic. Coach: Sordyl.
Arkas Izmir: Murilo Radke 1, Taht 15, M. Koc 14, A. Lagumdzija 28, Gulmezoglu 14, Matic 12, Mert (L); Joao Paulo Bravo 0, Sikar 0. Not Entered: Ergul (L), Kaya, M. Lagumdzija, Cevik, Cengiz. Coach: Hoag.

The fifth seed Fenerbahçe beat the second Arkas Spor for the second time with the same result, to come to a victory from winning the title: just like in Game 1, Fenerbahçe prevailed in five sets. A goal that seemed impossible for a team which had closed the first round in eighth place, before the arrivals of Sordyl and Hidalgo Oliva.
The Cuban outside hitter, in fact, finished the match with 32 points, including three aces, 62% in attack and only one error. A Ter Maat in alternate phases also contributed with 23 points, but only with 33% in attack, 2 blocks and 2 aces, however he gave an important hand with the ace of 12-9 in the tie-break.
The 28 points with 47% in attack of the young Adis Lagumdzija are not enough for Arkas Izmir.
The third and maybe a decisive game of the finals will be played on April 28 with the series being moved to Arkas home ground in İzmir.
